“After lockdown I had gained a lot more weight than I was comfortable with
I didn’t feel good about what I saw in the mirror
I was going to the gym every day, but nothing was changing
Ben took the time to know me and find what works best for me helping me lose about 20lbs
He was always kind and patient even when I lost motivation and helped me think about the big picture and what healthy means for me. If you’re like me and feeling stuck, don’t hesitate to talk to Ben, it’s one of the best choices I made for myself”
These words mean so much
And, just briefly, I doubt Frank was the only one coming out of the past 12-18 months not feeling too great about themselves… it’s been tough for us all
That decision to reach out & ask for help can be extremely daunting
Frank had seen the photo on the left… and decided that for him - that was the moment of change
He wasn’t happy with what he saw, and that’s really what it’s all about, isn’t it?
I am so happy Frank found that courage to do so about 6 months ago
It can be incredibly annoying when you feel like you’re putting in so much effort… and not getting the results you want
I’ve been there myself, too, so I genuinely understand
Turning up to the gym every single day
Doing what you think is the right thing
And yet, progress just won’t happen, no matter how hard you try
So, when Frank & I had a chat about where was at, what his current lifestyle looked like & where he wanted to be…
Confident enough to hit the beach and take his shirt off without hesitation
Feeling like he can be in a social situation without being so anxious he drinks too much
Fit enough to walk around Disneyworld without getting too tired to make the best of the experience
We created a plan designed to achieve those goals & compliment all areas of Frank’s life
This meant REDUCING time spent in the gym!
Something that seems really illogical, I know, but is one of the most valuable things that can be done for progress to be made
Allowing the body (& mind) the time to rest & recover is essential
If you continue to do everything at 110% you’ll soon burn out… and that’s not pretty, trust me
That time away from the gym then allows greater time for other areas, too
Nutrition, meditating, hobbies, downtime
All of which lead to more relaxed state
Which is a further contributor to fat loss, as well as general feelings of calm, happiness & confidence
The smile in the latest pic really says everything 😁
Huge well done Frank!
It has been an absolute pleasure & I wish you every success moving forwards
Guys, let’s give Frank a massive congratulations! 🎉
